The computer evolution made many of us to sit in front of computer's screen for hours and hours five days a week or even more. Now many of us are dealing with its downsides such as neck and shoulders stiffness, lower back pain, tight joins, carpal tunnel and tendonitis of wrists, hands and arms and the list goes on. Those symptoms are body's messages to you that something is wrong. Listen and do something about it.

Stretching at the work desk is one of the best solutions to this problem. Stretching can be done almost anywhere and at any time. It does not require special equipment, clothing or any special skills.

It requires only to develop a habit to do it. A good suggesting can be to put a poster on the monitor "Stretching Time Now" as a reminder.

Most people feel stress as excessive muscles' tension in the neck and upper shoulders. The best and easy doable solution to help your neck and shoulders is to perform a neck rotation few times during a day. Neck rotation is a yogi secret of longevity.

Here is how to do it in a right way.

Drop the chin to the chest and start doing a neck rotation slowly in one direction from three to five times.

Then put your head in a neutral (normal) position for a few minutes.

Drop the chin to the chest again and start doing a neck rotation slowly in an apposite direction from three to five times.

The key is to perform neck rotations slow, doing a full head circle with a right breathing. When you do it slow, your body will guide you how to breath correctly and you'll be aware of it.

My observation showed that many people are doing it fast and forget to breath correctly and really underestimate this powerful and simple stretch stress release technique. Happy stretching.
