I have a question which relates to my valuables and university accomodation?
Hi guys, im currently at college in essex, im moving 6 hours north, to scarborough university in september.
I need some advice, i have a few valuables which i will not be able to bring home with me on holidays (large LCD tv, laser jet printer and some other things like my mountain bike).
Ive been told its not safe to leave them in your room while your visiting home, things like my laptop, my xbox and projector i can bring home with me for the month or 2, does anyone know what options i have? maybe if you can pay for storage ect? because i have no idea at all.

Good idea about the closet 
Even though it should be safe it will be a lot more secure to use an insured storage facility. (and the cost will be less than replacing everything)
Its too easy for someone to get into your room, even the people you know may not be as honest as you think (or accidentally tell someone, overheard conversations, etc)
