My treadmill squeaks. How do I fix or replace the clear plastic film that is under the belt?
The black belt of the treadmill, where I walk on is ok. But the belt rubs onto a thick plastic film that is very smooth. That plastic film has an area where it is not completely smooth, but feels sandy to the touch. That is the area that squeaks everytime I put my foot on. Is there any way to fix this? I have put my hand between the belt and the plastic film and I can feel the "sandy" texture... I tried to clean it but it's still there. I tried sanding it a little but it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can use to make is smooth again so I can get rid of the noise? Thanks a lot in advance.
