Feeling Freely Safe In A Trampoline Net
Some people just want to be free. Some of those people buy trampolines to feel free when jumping. Now one may assume that there are some that will say, I don't need a trampoline enclosure I want to be free!
Free is good (especially inheriting a trampoline for free!), but freedom without a trampoline enclosure system is also the freedom to be launched freely through the space where a trampoline net should be and freely landing while freely flinging limbs and bones so freely break.
Doesn't sound so great does it? Now think of the children! The children!
So make sure that you secure your trampoline "airspace" with an enclosure net and enclosure system. If you already have a trampoline enclosure system, make sure that the net is sound and still sturdy. Inspect the seams for damage and check the anchor points of the net.
If your net is obviously in need of replacement, then remove the net and enclosure system before use. Check your owner's manual for more information on the net.
If you have the right kind of enclosure pole system, then a universal trampoline net might work best for you. Check that you meet the universal trampoline enclosure net requirements before deciding to try one out. It is important that you do not use a general net, or a homemade net, to in place of a net that was designed for your enclosure model. Although it may sound funny to use a homemade net, it is a serious example of what can cause an injury like those so often portrayed on internet video sites.
A nice and well maintained trampoline enclosure will help to avoid jumpers from falling out of the trampoline radius. But just because there is an enclosure, it does not mean the trampoline can accommodate more users. A trampoline must always be used one person at a time. Follow all the safety instructions within the owner's manual at all times.
About the Author
General sports enthusiast with a large fascination with all parts trampoline; everything from springs, history, mats, pads, and the trampolinists themselves. Simply trying to spread my knowledge and love with everyone willing to learn about the trampoline world.
Born and raised in Orange County, California. First saw real trampolining in its 2000 Summer Olympics debut. Had never knew it existed prior to that, but as soon as I witnessed it, I was hooked. I scoured the web and local libraries to find all the information I could about it and the rest is history.
Harbor Seal Whiskers Can Detect Fish Trails
When a hungry harbor seal sets off in pursuit of a fish diner, the animal has a secret weapon in its tracking arsenal: its whiskers. Detecting hydrodynamic trails in water with their sensitive whiskers, seals easily track passing fish even in the most turbid conditions.
